Our Mission Statement:
We strive to combine the strengths of our sires and dams that emphasize a susbstanctial, athletic physique, suri fiber fineness and luster, hefty birth weights and good milk production. We have been successful in producing a recognizable phenotype that can be picked out of a show line up. Combining strong dam genotypes to the fine, lustrous suri fiber genetics of our suri herdsires has created a recognizable stand out in todays suri market.
Farm Description:
Charlie and Karen Stephenson reside in Tulsa, OK with their three daughters, Anna, Corinne, Katherine and son, Chaz. The Stephenson family has been active in the llama community for over 17 years. Charlie also serves on the Board of Directors of the Suri Llama Association.
The breeding herd residing near their home in Tulsa, OK numbers around 40 llamas, with an additional 70 breeding and show llamas residing in LaVeta, CO during the show season and summer months. The Colorado branch of Flightless Farms is managed by Alaine Byers-Holzhauer at the Indian Peaks Ranch.
